University Innovation Award
L' UIR was featured in the Annual Report s'est vue décernée le prix University Innovation Award par monsieur le Ministre de l'Education Nationale, de la Formation Professionnelle, de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Said Amzazi , à l'occasion de la Research Excellence Day organisé par le ministère , le CNRST et le groupe Web of Science le mercredi 03 juillet 2019 à Rabat.
GLOBAL INNOVATION INDEX
UIR was featured in the Annual Report “The Global Innovation Index 2014”, for its contribution to Morocco’s ranking in the Global Innovation Index. According to this Global Index, published in July 2014, Morocco has moved up eight places compared to the previous year and ranks 84th on the list of 143 assessed economies.
IBM FACULTY AWARDS
Professor Mounir Ghogho, Director of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Lab at the International University of Rabat, was awarded the IBM Faculty Award in September 2013. The IBM Faculty Award is awarded to personalities from all over the world, both researchers for their work in applied research and professors for their work in innovation in academic programs.
HQE (High Environmental Quality) Label / WORLD EFFICIENCY AWARD
The International University of Rabat (UIR) was awarded several international certifications in Paris in October 2014 and October 2015, at the "International World Efficiency Exhibition on Innovation and Climate". These certifications recognize UIR's environmental approach in the construction of its new buildings, which makes the UIR campus the first university campus in Africa and one of the few in the world to obtain the HQE label.
INTERNATIONAL QUALITY CROWN AWARD
This award recognizes the success of UIR in the fields of Quality, Innovation and Excellence. UIR, the only Moroccan institution to be honored in 2014 in recognition of its commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation, successfully represented Morocco as an employer of choice by winning the 2014 International Quality Crown award.
NATIONAL INNOVATION PRIZE
The International University of Rabat was awarded the National Innovation Prize by the Head of the Moroccan Government, Mr. Abdelilah Benkirane, on 27 May 2014. This prize is awarded by the Moroccan Intellectual Property Office (OMPIC), and recognizes the research and innovation activities of UIR in the field of patents for inventions, which have led UIR to be ranked first in Morocco in terms of patent filing.
