Last month, (March 6-10, 2023), the Department of International Relations & Partnerships organized the 3rd edition of the UIR International Staff Week, on the theme of "Rethinking HEI Internationalization Strategies, Intercultural Skillsets & Digitalization."
This event gathered 21 representatives from 9 international partner universities to discuss internationalization structures and strategies, as well as explore new ways to strengthen existing collaborations and networks in a sustainable and strategic way.
The Staff Week consisted of a rich variety of workshops and seminars animated by UIR colleagues and partners and focused on the following topics:
- Morocco at the Crossroads of Civilizations & Tolerance: Our Common Euro-Med History & Heritage
- Inclusion Practices & Visions
- Soft Skills & Digital Mindset in the Post Pandemic Age
- The Role of Digital Technologies or EdTech in harnessing eLearning in the Virtual Age
Alongside the interactive working sessions, the Department of International Relations & Partnerships provided our guests with cultural immersion, through a guided visit of Rabat, a Moroccan pottery workshop and over lunch with a solidarity couscous at CIAT.
We would like to thank all the UIR staff and professors who contributed to the organization of this event, creating the perfect environment to promote a fruitful exchange of ideas, the development of new partnerships and the promotion UIR at the international level.
