From April 30th to May 2nd, the International University of Rabat (UIR) had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from Mississippi State University (MSU). This visit aimed to enhance the exchange and cooperation between our institutions across various fields of scientific research and to provide comprehensive training opportunities for young professionals.
The MSU delegation comprised deans, professors, and other esteemed members who engaged in a series of workshops alongside their UIR counterparts. These workshops were organized into five specialized groups: Engineering, Architecture, Agronomy & Animal Sciences, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences/Archaeology. The collaborative sessions facilitated the development of joint recommendations and conclusions, laying the groundwork for future collaborative projects.
In addition to the academic and professional activities, the MSU delegation enjoyed a cultural program designed to showcase Morocco's rich heritage. They visited the historic cities of Fes, Meknes, and Rabat, as well as the ancient Roman ruins at Volubilis, gaining a deeper appreciation of Moroccan culture and history.
