Descriptif: Dr. Farid El Asri is Professor of Anthropology of religions in the Political Science Department (Sciences Po Rabat), at International University of Rabat (UIR). He was a visiting professor at the Catholic University of Louvain and at the Saint-Louis University in Belgium, as the scientific Director of an interuniversity training program on Islam. He is also the Director of research network on Islam in Europe “European Muslim Research on Islamic Development”. Dr.El Asri holds the chair titled “Societies, Cultures and religious Facts” at the International University of Rabat. His e anthropological research interests are in the field of religious education in the West and in the Arab world, with a focus on the issue of radicalization and the processes of de-radicalization.
