If you are interested in learning about Moroccan cultural Heritage while developing skills in 3D scanning , VR , AR , and Gamification , join the WHV project – Phygital Heritage in Rabat, between the ruins of Chellah and the Oudayas!
Programme Duration
10 - 20 November 2025
(10 days intensive programme)
become a world heritage volunteer and participate in the preservation of local heritage through workshops and hands on projects within the International University of Rabat, School of architecture
Application Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum age : 18 years
- Proficiency in English, Arabic, or French
- Background or demonstrated interest in cultural heritage, architecture, urban studies, or digital technologies
- Basic proficiency in 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhinoceros, or equivalent)
Technical Requirements

High-performance laptop computer
Minimum specifications: 16GB RAM, RTX 3060 graphics card - Smartphone device (iOS or Android)
Programme Provisions
Accommodation
University dormitory accommodation will be provided in shared double rooms within the International University of Rabat campus facilities.
Meals
Daily breakfast and lunch will be provided at the university restaurant facilities throughout the programme duration.
Transportation
Daily shuttle service will be provided between the university campus and project sites during workshop activities.
Please note: Participants are responsible for their own transportation between the airport and university campus.
