Larbi ALAOUI, is an associate professor at the School of Computer Science and Digital Technology at UIR. He obtained a diploma of advanced studies and a doctorate in applied mathematics at the University of Pau in France, as well as a PhD in mathematics and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Tübingen in Germany. Before joining the UIR, he worked at the universities of Pau, Tübingen, El Jadida, Frankfurt and Brunswick and at the national engineering school of Tarbes. He also worked for two years as a consultant and software developer in Germany. He has taught various courses in many areas of mathematics and computer sciences. His research in mathematics mainly focuses on the qualitative analysis of population dynamics models within the framework of the theory he developed on the class of translation semi-groups of operators associated with renewal-type equations. In computer science, his research focuses on the interoperability of database systems, data mining and the analysis of data from Big Data.
