Mounir GHOGHO

Mounir Ghogho, a university professor at UIR since 2010, is the Dean of the UIR Doctoral College and the Director of the TICLab. He also serves as the Director of the International Associated Laboratory (LIA) DataNet at CNRS, focusing on Big Data and cybersecurity. He earned his master's and doctoral degrees in 1993 and 1997, respectively, from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, France. He has held several senior positions at international universities, including the University of Strathclyde and the University of Leeds. He received the Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowship in the UK in 2000 and the IBM Faculty Award in 2013. He was elevated to the grade of IEEE Fellow in 2018. His research and teaching activities focus on Machine Learning (Artificial Intelligence), Big Data (Data Mining), signal and image processing, and wireless communication networks. He has published over 300 articles in international journals and conferences.
