Abstract : This project aims at developing an innovative low cost CPV technology prototype system unit of an optimal output power of 5 kWp 100% made in Morocco. Expertise and know-how transfer between academia and industry partners of this project are among other objectives. This is a multidisciplinary project involving the R&D of the value chain of CPV:
  • Optical engineering for optimal high solar concentration solution,
  • Electrical and software engineering to develop and manufacture an optimal automate to control and monitor sun tracking with other sensors,
  • Mechanical engineering to develop and manufacture a low cost fixed and mobile structures (column and central body) to support the PV panels,
  • Develop in-situ performance test of solar cells integrated with the electrical monitoring solution.
