Mohamed Ould Moussa is a professor at the International University of Rabat, where he is lecturer of mechanics and materials science at the College of Engineering and Architecture. He obtained his PhD from “Ecole Polytechnique” in France in 2011. It concerned thermomechanical modeling of the shape memory alloys behavior when submitted to dynamic stimulus (namely thermal and mechanical loadings) following both theoretical and experimental approaches. He was a research scientist at “Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (CEA de Saclay, France)” for two years.  The main performed works were the micromechanical modeling and multiscale simulation of the grain boundary fracture which often occurs in pre-irradiated polycrystalline metals undergoing mechanical tensile loading. He has recently participated in some research projects (International, European, and local) such as European project PERFORM 60 (FP7) [PERFORM60 (2008-2014)], BMS project PSA (France) at PSA OpenLAB@Maroc, MIGRID (USAID-PEER program, 2017-2019) and others ANR (France, 2008 to 2011). He has published more than 18 papers in both peer reviewed international journals and conferences and supervises more than 23 Master’s degree training in mechanical and energy fields.
