Omer Ali ELSAYED is a Professor/Associate at the School of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering of the International University of Rabat. He obtained his B.Sc. in Engineering from the Faculty of Transportation Engineering (Aircraft Engineering) at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He also holds an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the University Putra Malaysia, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia. Dr. Elsayed is an accomplished researcher who conducts a variety of projects covering a wide range of topics. These topics include, but are not limited to, Wake Vortex Encounters, Wing-tip Vortices Structure and Dynamics, Wake Vortex Attenuation through Passive Flow Control Techniques, and Shock Wave Boundary Layer Interaction. Dr. Elsayed has participated in several notable projects such as Aerodynamic and Aeroacoustics Performance Improvement of Wind Turbine and eVTOL Rotors, Road Vehicle Drag Reduction, and Bio-inspired Aerodynamics for Airfoil and Wings New Designs. He has published over thirty-eight (38) articles in both peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings.
