Assia NAJA is an Assistant Professor at the School of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering School and member of TicLab at the International University of Rabat, Morocco. Dr. Naja holds her Ph.D. in Computer Science from National School of Computer Science and Systems Analysis (ENSIAS), Rabat. She obtained her Engineering Diploma in Network and telecommunications from National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier (ENSAT), in summer 2012. Her doctoral studies were carried out at ENSIAS and UIR under the supervision of Prof. Mohammed BOULMALF and Prof. Mohammed ESSAAIDI; she developed and implemented road traffic management mechanisms to improve data transmission performance in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks, within the Framework of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Her current research topics are in Artificial Intelligence and their applications in various fields, such as: the intelligent transport, the Internet of Things (IoT) and the predictive maintenance. However, her teaching activities cover the fields of computer science and electronics. She is the author/co-author of several articles in refereed journals and conferences in the fields of Wireless Networking and Communications, Wireless Sensor Networks and Mobile Computing.
