The E&A college houses two international research laboratories (LIA) with national and foreign teams, notably French and American:
- LIA DATANET: Big Data and large-scale networks is the result of a long-standing collaboration between French (CNRS and University of Lorraine) and Moroccan institutes including the CNRST and the UIR.
- LIA ATLAS: Trans-Mediterranean Association of Laboratories for Solar Energy Applications is the result of a collaboration between the UIR, the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research of Morocco and the Mohammed V University (Morocco), Georgia Tech Lorraine, and the CNRS (France).
The E&A college is also participating with the other UIR colleges in the first OpenLab of the PSA group on the African continent: OpenLab PSA@Morocco “Sustainable Mobility for Africa”, a mixed structure between the academic world and the automotive industry.
