ERASMUS+ IN ÇANKIRI SPRING 2023
"I was lucky enough to take part in the Erasmus programme for the
spring 2023 academic mobility semester at Çankiri Karatekin
University in Turkey.
As well as the academic aspect, my experience in Turkey was one of
learning and discovery. Learning about other people, our differences
and living together, which enabled me to overcome my initial
apprehensions.
It was also a cultural and human discovery that gave me a taste of
Turkish hospitality, and thanks to which I won't really feel like a
stranger there anymore - I have friends there."

“I was part of the Bruface Programme, which is a joint collaboration
between “Vrieje Universiteit Brussel” and “Université libre de
Bruxelles” in the field of engineering, and in my pursuit of
maximizing my learning experience, I made the delibarate choice to
challenge myself by enrolling in courses from different engineering
fields, Aeronautics primarly, but also courses from energy and
electro-mechanical engineering. While managing such a diverse
workload was undoubtedly challenging, I found solace in reminding
myself of the reasons that initially inspired me to go on this
journey. “

“Mon expérience au service de chirurgie orale et de parodontologie à
l'Université Jagiellonian a été exceptionnelle. Pendant ce mois,
j'ai eu l'opportunité d'approfondir mes connaissances pratiques et
théoriques sous la direction d'une équipe compétente et dévouée.
J'ai été impressionné par le professionnalisme et la passion de
chaque membre des deux services, et j'ai pu observer diverses
procédures chirurgicales, non chirurgicales et consultations. Cette
expérience a renforcé mon intérêt pour la chirurgie buccale,
l’implantologie et de la parodontologie. Je suis reconnaissant
envers toute l'équipe en commençant par madame la doyenne de
l’Université Jagiellonian, les professeurs, les résidents et les
étudiants pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur enseignement
précieux.”

“Mon expérience au département de chirurgie orale et parodontologie
de l'université de Jagiellonian de Cracovie en Pologne a été
incroyable. Tout le monde était super gentil, et les étudiants
étaient vraiment là pour nous soutenir. Les spécialistes et les
résidents étaient tellement serviables, toujours prêts à répondre à
nos questions et à nous guider. Leur soutien a vraiment rendu mon
séjour là-bas inoubliable et enrichissant. Ce stage m'a vraiment
aidé à approfondir mes connaissances, regarder les chirurgies les
plus avancées du domaine. Je tiens à remercier tous les professeurs,
étudiants, Administration de l'université de Jagiellonian d'avoir
rendu notre séjour le plus parfait possible.”

EXCHANGE AT UNINT UNIVERSITY SPRING 2024
My time abroad in Rome was unforgettable. Embracing Italian
culture through its food, language, and traditions, and
experiencing the warmth of its people made me feel truly welcome.
The city was perfect for building lasting friendships and personal
growth, helping me become more independent and confident while
appreciating my own company.
There were challenges, like the language barrier when navigating
daily life and academics, especially with administrative tasks
where English wasn’t common. Adjusting to a different academic
system required changes in my study approach, and homesickness was
tough but made me more resilient.
Overall, my exchange in Rome was life-changing. Despite the
challenges, the experience enriched my confidence, independence,
and brought lasting memories. I’d recommend it to anyone—it’s
truly unique.

“First of all, thanks to UIR for the full scholarship. Happy to
start my academic mobility at Vrije Universiteit Brussel,
Belgium.
From Mali to Italy, Italy to Morroco, then Morroco to Belgium I
learned about new cultures and academic system , learn with
foreigners differents ways to solve differents engineering
problems , meeting aerospace students, Air traffic
controlers,Aerodynamicist, pilot, Astrophysicst and accessing an
exchange of ideas then being versatile in aerospace and finally
studying the fascinate subject I chose.
Aircraft propulsion, Aircraft performance and stability, Control
system design, Mechanical vibration &acoustic, Design methodology.
To sum up, I’m highly motivated to attend to this programm as it
would represent an excellent opportunity for my career path.”
