Orientation Day and Semester Activities:
An orientation day is organized at the beginning of each semester for incoming exchange students. UIR International Relations Office will announce the date and schedule of the orientation day via email. Attendance is mandatory (and fun)!
To familiarize exchange students with Moroccan culture and lifestyle, UIR International Relations Office offers a rich calendar of activities throughout the semester, including day trips to Rabat and Casablanca, and cultural workshops such as henna sessions, Arabic calligraphy, Andalusian music, cooking classes, and more.
Course Enrollment and Drop-in/off Week:
During your first week at UIR, you will meet your academic coordinators and discuss your course choice, course schedule, and other academic-related subjects.
Typically, you will have a week to revise your Learning Agreement and confirm your course selection. Keep in mind that any changes to the Learning Agreement must be approved by both your Home University and UIR.
