Good governance practices are recognized as a key factor in corporate performance. Within this framework, Morocco has developed and implemented codes of good governance practices.
In order to fully carry out their mandate, directors must master these good practices and adopt the right positions within the governance bodies.
To this end, the IMA, in partnership with the International University of Rabat (UIR), offers a training program for corporate directors, adapted to the context of Moroccan companies. The Institut Marocain des Administrateurs (IMA) is an association created in 2009 by the National Commission on Corporate Governance. Its main mission is to provide corporate directors with the training, information and expertise they need to perform their duties; and to promote good governance practices.
