Symposium on the state of play of the innovation, valorization and knowledge transfer system: “Building on the European experience”

The International University of Rabat is hosting a conference on July 26 and 27, 2018 as part of the European project INSITES "Institutionalization of Innovation Structures for Knowledge Transfer and Exploitation". This project, coordinated by the Hassan I University, involves the participation of 14 national and international partners from Morocco, Spain, Portugal and Sweden, including UIR.

The symposium organized at UIR is a continuation of the project steering committee meeting held in May 2018, which aimed to take stock of innovation, the exploitation of patents and the research, innovation, upgrade and technology transfer system in Moroccan Universities.

The INSITES project is funded by the European Union under the 2017 call for proposals of the Erasmus + program. Its purpose is to contribute to the development of scientific research and innovation in Moroccan universities, by establishing a modern mode of governance for university institutions of innovation and knowledge transfer and exploitation, in line with the 2015-2030 national strategy for higher education and the policy of upgrading the Moroccan economic sector.
