In order to make higher education more affordable for Moroccan students wishing to enroll at the International University of Rabat “UIR”, the latter has set up a support fund called “TAMWIL UIR” with the Caisse Centrale de Garantie (CCG), the purpose of which is to grant repayable advances to its students for the partial financing of their tuition fees.
The advances granted by the Fund are capped at MAD 60,000 per year of study; the remainder can be financed by a bank loan and benefit from the CCG guarantee under the “Enseignement Plus” product. Advances are granted at a preferential interest rate of 4% per annum excluding refundable VAT over a period of up to 12 years, including a grace period of up to 6 years.
N.B.: The final deadline for the submission of the CCG loan applications will be communicated to you at a later date.
Eligibility requirements:
Intended for UIR students only, the repayable advance set up by UIR and CCG applies only to students who satisfy the following criteria:
- Have Moroccan citizenship;
- Application procedure
Have UIR's agreement in principle.
Students must appear at UIR with the following documents to request the agreement in principle:
Documents for the UIR application: :
- Request specifying the amount and total duration of the loan;
- Copy of the student's ID;
- Student's proof of address;
- Proof of payment of the remaining tuition fees not covered by the loan (scholarship, own funds, etc.).
Documents for the CCG application: /span>
- Agreement in principle of UIR specifying the number of years of studies to be financed and the overall and annual amount of the eligible fees;
- Request specifying the amount and total duration of the loan;
- Copies of the student's ID and bond;
- Student's proof of address and bond;
- IBAN (RIB) certificates of the student's bank accounts and his/her bond.
