QS University Ranking Arab Region 2023

The International University of Rabat has made its beginnings in the esteemed international ranking, QS University Ranking Arab Region 2023, and has secured a place among the Top 100 institutions.

In its inaugural appearance, UIR has achieved an impressive 3rd position nationally within this prestigious ranking.

This remarkable achievement reflects the institution's commitment to excellence in education, research, knowledge transfer activities, and effective governance. It is a testament to the unwavering dedication and continuous efforts of the university's scientific community and all its resources.

Financial Times: Master in Management 2022 Ranking

For the first time in history, an African Business School has earned a prestigious spot in the Financial Times ranking. Rabat Business School, part of the International University of Rabat, has achieved a position in the top 100 business schools worldwide by entering the Financial Times' "Master in Management" 2022 ranking, marking it as the first higher education institution in Morocco to achieve this distinction.

The FT ranking considers stringent selection and evaluation criteria, including:

  • Graduate employability (assessed through alumni questionnaires)
  • Academic program quality at the Master's level
  • International diversity among faculty and students

QS World University Rankings 2023

Rabat Business School has secured its place in the prestigious QS World University Rankings for the second consecutive year in 2023. This accomplishment positions it among the world's top three most esteemed university rankings, alongside the Financial Times and Shanghai Jiao Tong University rankings.

Notably, four of Rabat Business School's Master's programs have been recognized as among the best in the world:

UIR Ranked as the Top University in Morocco by THE Impact

The International University of Rabat proudly claims the top position in Morocco, alongside two partner universities in the Rabat Salé Kénitra region, in the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Ranking.
This recognition underscores UIR's unwavering commitment to social responsibility in higher education and its dedication to addressing globally significant sustainable development challenges through education, research, and innovation.
The ranking is based on various indicators that gauge global universitie's commitment to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On a global scale, UIR also holds impressive positions in three SDGs: SDG 8, "Decent Work and Economic Growth"; SDG 7, "Affordable and Clean Energy"; and SDG 16, "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions."

AACSB Accreditation (American Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)

UIR's Rabat Business School is among the top 5% of business schools worldwide to have earned AACSB Accreditation (American Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

This prestigious accreditation is a significant global acknowledgment and serves as a valuable assurance of quality. It ensures that students receive a globally recognized degree of the highest standard.

University Innovation Award

The International University of Rabat has been awarded with "the University Innovation Award" by Said Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the occasion of the Research Excellence Day organised by the Ministry, the CNRST and Groupe Web of Science on Wednesday 03 July 2019 in Rabat.

The recognition of the International University of Rabat as an innovative university was made according to the study of Clarivate Analytics Company of the group Web of Science.

GLOBAL INNOVATION INDEX

The UIR has been featured in the annual report "The Global Innovation Index 2014" for its contribution to Morocco's ranking in the Global Innovation Index. According to the global index, published in July 2014, Morocco moved up eight places from the previous year to 84th place on the list of 143 economies assessed.

It should be noted that the UIR accounted for 36% of the total number of patents filed in 2013.

IBM FACULTY AWARDS

Professor Mounir Ghogho, head of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Laboratory at the International University of Rabat, was awarded the IBM Faculty Award in September 2013. The IBM Faculty Award is handed out to distinguished individuals worldwide, both researchers for their work in applied research and university professors for their work in academic innovation.

HQE (High Environmental Quality) label / WORLD EFFICIENCY AWARD

The International University of Rabat (UIR) was awarded several international certifications in Paris on October 2014 and October 2015, as part of the "World Efficiency International Trade Fair on Innovation and Climate". These certifications reward the environmental approach pursued by UIR in constructing its new buildings, making UIR's campus the first university campus in Africa and among the very few in the world to have been granted the HQE label.

INTERNATIONAL QUALITY CROWN AWARD

UIR, the only Moroccan institution to be awarded a prize for 2014 In recognition of its commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation. UIR has successfully represented Morocco as a reference employer by winning the 2014 "International Quality Crown" award.

NATIONAL INNOVATION PRIZE

The International University of Rabat was awarded the National Innovation Prize by the Head of the Moroccan Government, Mr Abdelilah Benkirane, on 27 May 2014. This prize is awarded by the Moroccan Office for Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), in recognition of UIR's research and innovation activities in the field of invention patents, which have led UIR to be ranked first University in terms of patent filings in Morocco.
