8 UIR students selected for the 2019 edition of the "SPECQUE" in QUEBEC

Model European Parliament Canada-Quebec-Europe

In the framework of a call for applications launched to UIR students in October 2019, 8 UIR students were selected in November 2019 to participate in a Model of the European Parliament Canada-Quebec-Europe (SPECQUE), one of the largest French-speaking Models of the European Parliament in the world. The selected UIR students will have the opportunity to participate in the edition organized from 26July to 2 August, 2020 in Quebec. They will have the unique opportunity to take a stand and defend ideas, in addition to working on a series of proposals that will then be forwarded to the European Parliament.

The Model European Parliament Canada-Quebec-Europe, more commonly known by its acronym SPECQUE, was created in 1998 by students from Laval University (Quebec, Canada), in order to better understand the functioning of the European institutions and the major issues of the European Union.
