At the African Games Village, and before the official opening ceremony of the 12th edition of the Rabat African Games, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Rachid Talbi El Alami received from the hands of the Commissioner for Social Affairs of the African Union (AU), Mrs. Amira El Fadil, the emblem of the African Union (AU).

"This handing over of the flag symbolizes the coming together of the whole African continent in Morocco with the aim of competing. This symbiosis contributes to African unity and the development of the continent's youth," according to Mrs. Amira El Fadil.
