The International University of Rabat, through its Valuation and Transfers Department and Alten Delivery Center Maroc, a Moroccan subsidiary of the world leader in Engineering and Technology Consulting, organized the continental competition “ALTEN Morocco Software Awards 2021” between 30th November and December 2nd, 2021.
This 6th edition was intended for 5th year students for the 2021/2022 academic year, from schools and universities located in Africa. The projects submitted for this edition touched on the theme "Cellular V2X Communications".
This edition saw the participation of 25 teams including 4 UIR teams. Only 8 teams qualified for the final. During this competition, the participants were coached to give shape to their projects and finalize their prototypes.
The first jury prize was won by Ms. YAGOUBI Salma and Mr. ELALLAY Mouad, computer engineering students at the UIR, for their "Realtime Pothole detection" project. The second and third prizes went to the ESI2A and FST Beni Mellal teams respectively.
