Du 12 au 14 Avril 2019
Within the framework of the DigiGirlz program, the International University of Rabat welcomed and hosted nearly 120 high school graduates at the University campus from April 12 to 14. Benefiting from the University's infrastructure, 19 IT projects were presented by the young participants, aged 15 to 18, covering various topics.
Initiated by the Anoual association, the U.S. Embassy in Morocco and Microsoft Morocco, the "DigiGirlz Mentorship Program" is a competition that aims to encourage young girls to engage and innovate in the fields of technology, while promoting transmission and mutual aid. Divided into 19 groups, the girls developed their projects under the guidance of 19 mentors, who were themselves trained during the DigiGirlz Mentorship Camp.
DigiGirlz is a global program initiated by Microsoft in various countries around the world. Coordinated by the Anoual Association and the U.S. Embassy in Morocco, it has benefited more than 120 girls from several regions of the Kingdom. The goal of DigiGirlz is to promote science education among Moroccan girls, promote gender equality, encourage IT education and highlight women's skills in the field of technology.
