Organized from 7 to 9 June 2019, the city of Tangier hosted the 3-day congress of technology and innovation, "CyFy Africa 2019". This congress, bringing together more than 300 participants from Africa, Europe, America and Asia, aims to be a meeting place and a platform for debate and exchange on the policy between what's virtual and what's real, combating violent extremism, the digitalization of the nation state, the geopolitics of 5G, and journalism in the age of new media.
Placed under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, "CyFy Africa 2019" was organized by the ORF Study and Research Center (India) and the African Research Center (ORFA), in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Digital Economy, the International University of Rabat and the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
This event was attended by Mr. Noureddine Mouaddib, President of UIR, the former Spanish Prime Minister, Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, the Secretary General of the Madrid Club of Former Heads of State and Government, Elena Agüero, and the Minister of Industry, Trade and the Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid Elalamy.
